The Maersk Importer is a RO/RO vessel and was built in 1996 at the MIHO Shimizu ship yard in Japan at the same time as the Maersk Exporter.

The Maersk Importer currently sails under a Dutch flag and opperates on a dedicated route between Vlaardingen, Holland and Felixstowe in the UK.
