Belfast - Heysham

In 2009 Norfolkline successfully introduced the Scotia Seaways and Hibernia Seaways to the Belfast  - Heysham route.  The arrival of these modern vessels have transformed the service levels on this route with their excellent reliability and performance and reinforces the major committment by Norfolkline to its Irish Sea services.

A new sailing schedule is in operation with additional Monday morning sailings which provides customers the opportunity to increase productivity with their fleet and meet delivery deadlines.

Norfolkline offer a dedicated freight service on the Belfast - Heysham route and is particularly suitable for the shipment of hazardous cargo and abnormal loads.

Heysham offers easy access links to the major motorway network throughout Britain, while Belfast offers a gateway to the major commercial centres of Ireland.

The crossing time from Belfast to Heysham is approximately 8 hours with daily morning and evening departures available in both directions.
